It is clear that Kayne is trying to earn favors from Trump.

This is the timeline

In case you have missed it, Kayne West is back on Twitter. It’s hard to miss it if you frequent the social media website yourself. Since his return to the social media site, Kayne hasn’t stayed away from bold proclamations, inspiring words as well as album announcements – not just for himself, but also for other musicians.

Yeezy x President

Amongst all that raving and tweeting, the rapper also claimed that he will be running for president. According to his recent series of tweets, Kanye still has political aspirations in mind. On Monday (April 23rd), he reportedly tweeted a photo of five posters with the hashtag #Kayne2024. The photo read the slogan “Keep America Great”. Although Kayne quickly deleted the photo, followers had already screenshotted it. He also added a thinking-face emoji in the tweet that led fans to take his post as a confirmation of Kayne’s presidential bid. After a while, some fans claimed to have seen the same cryptic posters in cities like Los Angeles, New York, and Chicago, possibly indicating that Kayne may plot a political campaign in the future. In another tweet, he called himself this generation’s Steve Jobs, Howard Hughes, Henry Ford, and Walt Disney. Much thanks to his Yeezy clothing brand.

On April 25th, the rapper teased his presidential hopes yet again. He tweeted “2024”. While the statement is short, it is pretty clear what he was saying. He followed up with another tweet “spread love”. Since he is never less than bold, he also referred to himself as “future president”. He called out Harvey Levin (number one douchebag and founder of TMZ) writing, that “Your hearing from your future president”.

It is clear from his another tweet that Kayne also has plans for the Air Force One as he intends to change its name to “Yeezy Force One”.

As these series of tweets make clear, Kanye wasn’t kidding around during the 2015 VMAs when he talked about running for president. He claimed during that awards show speech that he would be running on the 2020 ticket. Apparently, he is waiting until 2024 in the event that the presidency of President Donald Trump concludes. It's only then that Kanye will attempt to move into the White House with his wife Kim Kardashian West.

Kayne West did not keep his affections for Trump a secret as he was seen wearing one of Trump’s “Make America Great Again” red hats during his recent social media return. This act sparked even more strong vocal outrage and opinions from social media users than his series of tweets. During his political proclamations, it is clear that Kayne is trying to earn favors from Trump.

Of course, this is not the last time we will hear from Kanye, particularly on social media. While other celebrities have also announced their intentions or interest in running for president since or during Donald Trump’s campaign, including Lindsay Lohan and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Kanye West is keeping his political dreams in front of his vision. To see how they pan out in the future, all we need to do is wait.
